Jaime is a lawyer, a Spanish Industrial Property Agent duly authorised by the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office (SPTO), and a European Patent Attorney authorised to practise before the European Patent Office (EPO) and Authorized representative before the EUIPO.
His professional activity focuses on providing legal advice to clients in the field of intellectual and industrial property, as well as on the comprehensive management of trade mark, patent and design portfolios. This includes, in particular, the preparation and prosecution of trade mark and industrial design applications before the relevant offices (SPTO, EUIPO, WIPO), as well as liaising with foreign associates for the same purposes; drafting submissions and pleadings in defence of trade marks, both in ex officio refusals and inter partes proceedings (oppositions, invalidity and revocation actions, etc.); trade mark clearance opinions and portfolio analyses; and coexistence agreements.

- Jaime is a highly regarded Industrial Property Agent in Spain. He has developed his professional career as a lawyer and Industrial Property Agent alongside his father, Mr Jaime Isern Cuyás, and his grandfather, Mr Jaime Isern Miralles, a pioneer and founder of the firm Jaime Isern in 1924.
- He was part of the family business until, in late September 2001, he decided to pursue a new professional path as an independent Industrial Property Agent at P&T Intellectual Property.
- In 2025, he joined Vidal-Quadras & Ramon, bringing more than 40 years of experience to the Prosecution practice, focused on the filing, prosecution, registration and watching of industrial and intellectual property rights, in particular trade marks (distinctive signs) and designs.
